A few years ago I knew nothing about Internet, and even less about HTML, the universal language of the World Wide Web.
But I learnt everything "the hard way" and after a while I was able to make my own and my friends' Web Sites.
I was fascinated by the experience and explored further the little secrets of this language.
Eventually I knew a lot about HTML and, being a Trainer, decided to build a course on Professional Web Site Design.
The spirit has always been the same: to offer a course on Web Site Design made by a "man in the street" for "men in the street".
As such, I had to keep it simple and practical, "result orientated".
With this very same spirit I am offering now this comprehensive distance learning course on "How to build a Professional Web Site".
It is really a "step-by-step" Course, unfortunately written in my "ItaliEnglish" (forgive me for that), but rather well illustrated (there are a lot of pictures that will help you to grasp every concept), and, most important, "hands-on" (you will have to do a lot of practical work - very good for you !).
I will also try to make it as enjoyable as possible. Have fun !

 
Now let's go into practical issues:

• This Course will enable you to build a very Professional Web Site of any nature and content.
  You may have decided to register for this Course with the aim of putting up your own Web Site, be it Commercial, Scientific, Personal, Social or Educational in its nature - or, perhaps, with the intention of becoming a Web Site Designer and building your own Internet-based career.
  Well, in any case and whatever your aims are, you will receive the majority of the tools you need, and in a much shorter time than you think.

• If you follow me up to the end, you will be in a position to build Web Pages which are not only useful, usable, functional and rich in lively content, but also "valid" against the new XHTML Standard (the future Standard of the Net).
  This is an extremely important target. Today, only a tiny fraction of the over 200.000.000.000 (yes, 200 billion !) published Web Pages are XHTML valid - all the others are full of mistakes, which will be no longer tolerated in a short while from now....
